HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., July 7, 2020 – Beauty Society, a California based skincare and cosmetics company achieved the Leaping Bunny Certification through Cruelty Free International and additionally, accepted into PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies Program.

For 16 years, Beauty Society has held itself to the highest standards of cruelty-free and is environmentally friendly. From synthetic hair makeup brushes to USA grade organic and natural ingredients, Beauty Society is ethically conscious of their impact every step of the way.

The Leaping Bunny certification program is the most comprehensive worldwide cruelty-free standard and includes checking for animal testing down to the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI) manufacturer level and an ongoing internal monitoring system. Leaping Bunny certification is the only globally recognized program that requires regular independent supply chain audits to ensure continued compliance.

PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program shares information about cruelty-free companies and products with consumers. With a searchable online database, one can search by company, brand name, or product type to find the most humane products on the market.

Jeannie Lorin, the founder and CEO, said, “Being cruelty-free has always been extremely important to us as a beauty company and we know it’s very important to our customers. That’s why we can assure the best in the USA for effectiveness, with gluten and paraben-free formulas, and of course, no history of animal testing. With that mindset, we are honored to be officially recognized by both PETA and Leaping Bunny.”

The Leaping Bunny logo will feature on Beauty Society’s website and products, the best visible and independent assurance to consumers of a company’s commitment that the brand is free from animal testing and adheres to the strict criteria.
